My mom told me about this today. Our mortgage is only $69 more per month, and we get a 796 square foot house on a 4900 square foot lot! In Los Angeles! I realize that in the rest of the country, this isn’t much, but for L.A., it’s amazing.

700 bucks for THAT?!!!!! I paid $800 for a rather large studio on Sunset & Western (about 3 years ago) and I now pay $1100 for a huge 1br just south of Beverly Hills! Sweet GOD! I would go absolutely NUTS.
