Hey Brooke! I am not sure if you remember me, but A. Cruz introduced us at the pub near his apartment. I love the mood boards you are putting together for your house! Since you and your hubby are a dedicated do-it-yourself couple I thought you might like another way to build instead of buy. Ana White draws up some great plans and lots of her internet fans are building her knock-off designs – and she posts the pictures of what people have created. Most of her plans are inspired by/replications of Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, West Elm and other major retailers. She may have a design very similar to your dining room table in the mood board you’ve put together. You’d likely be able to build a similar table, and custom to your dimensions, for a quarter of the cost. I am not sure if furniture building is something you’re interested in, but I thought I’d give you the link just in case you are. http://ana-white.com/ Thanks for sharing your home improvement journey – I am so inspired by what you guys are doing here in LA!
Of course I remember! Thank you so much for this link – I’d always rather build it myself than buy it. She’s got some amazing bed frames and media centers. I can’t wait till we get to that part of the reno!
