We took Sunday off and got back to work on Monday.
Check out the first six posts here, here, here, here, here, and here.
See where this whole project is heading here.
In a sick plot twist, I pulled a muscle in my back pretty bad on Monday, so I’m out of commission, and this is really a two person job. I’m hoping that I’ll be well enough on Friday or Saturday for us to wrap this up. So close to the end – I can’t stand it!
Although 95% of the whole job is done, we didn’t finish while we had the stake truck rented because we encountered two areas of rubble that were just too difficult to sift – the area under the bougainvillea and the area just off the end of The (former) Mold House. There was just too much plant material and construction debris to pick out.

We decided that we’d run the Tacoma to the dump for 5 or 6 loads at $44 bucks/load.
Armand set up a runway for the wheelbarrow.

Here’s a better look at the 3rd and 4th patios and the stem wall that we found:

Here’s where we stand with the yard:

To be continued (over the weekend)…

I’m wondering if there is a 5th patio…. Just be careful you don’t remove the tectonic plate – that could be really dangerous in California.
